Description

A simple connection for your back-seat setup

The Black Dog adjustable seat-belt strap connects a compatible vehicle buckle to your dog’s harness. Choose it as an optional upgrade for your travel setup.

Product details

  • Black adjustable webbing strap.
  • Stainless steel spring-gate carabiner and metal buckle tongue.
  • Long model: adjusts from 47 to 80 cm (18.5 to 31.5 in).

Before you use it

Check buckle compatibility before travel; some older Volvo buckles are not compatible. Attach to a harness, never a collar. This strap helps limit movement and driver distraction; it is not crash-test certified. Follow the vehicle and harness instructions.

What’s included

One adjustable Black Dog seat-belt strap. Harness and hammock are sold separately.

"My 75 lb Golden no longer slides into the footwell."

"Every time I hit the brakes coming down mountain passes, Copper would slide straight into the footwell gap. Cheap soft covers sagged like a wet towel. This rigid bottom spans the entire seat flat. He sleeps like a rock now."
