Measure the usable space across the rear bench. Compare with the platform width: 51.9 in for SUV or 56 in for Truck XL.
With the front seats in their usual position, measure from the rear seatback to the front seatbacks.
Check that the headrests can hold the straps and that the seat-belt buckles remain accessible.
Route a compatible tether through the opening and attach it to a harness, never a collar. The hammock includes basic tethers; the separate Black Dog tether is an optional upgrade.
The 51 × 24 in plush pad adds a soft layer on top of the hammock.
